Jeff Gordon appears to be on a roll after winning one of todays twin qualifying races at Daytona. Starting in the outside pole at Daytona this Sunday, Gordon is considered by many to be the favorite for this weekends Daytona 500. Also winning today was Elliot Sadler, who starts in third this Sunday.
The guy who caught the short end of the stick was Scott Riggs who missed quailfying for the Daytona 500 in what many would say is the best ride of his career, driving for Everham Motorsports.
I wonder how that feels, being hired by Everham Motorsports getting in a new fast car and then blowing it on the first and biggest race of the year.
