Robby Gordon admits in a recent interview on NASCAR.COM the best move he ever made was switching engine suppliers from Menard to DEI. While this switch has already produced amazing results on the race track with three top 15 finishes, it has also cost him him as much as 25 percent of his operating budget. Gordon is quoted as saying
"You look at your budget, and you're like, 'How are you going to do
this?'" Gordon said.
Wondering how he was going to pay for these new engines Gordon set out up a new interactice experience for fans at each race track called the Robby Gordon "Piece of Shit" Experience. This simulator is meant to give a fan a true to life experience of driving a Robby Gordon car during the 2005 season. To ensure a realistic experience for each fan, each simulator is powered by Menard Engines and is expected to crap out after a couple of laps.
Alternatively, fans can drive in a DEI powered simulator but will have to pay 25 percent more to do so.
